Susanna Simpson / Founder

Susanna founded Limelight in March 2002. She is regularly tagged as a "one to watch" in both the PR and entrepreneur community. Susanna believes she was put on the planet to give people the recognition they deserve. Enter Limelight and its team who ensure this recognition is designed to help clients achieve business goals, enhance sales and to reap the rewards of thought leader status. Having always wanted to run her own business Susanna found PR age 16! The combination of meeting inspiring business leaders and exposure to a multitude of businesses hooked her immediately. She launched Limelight in 2002 and was Awarded PR Week Magazine’s young PR professional of the year. A decade on Susanna still leads Limelight and is hugely ambitious for her clients. She loves creating communications strategies with a commercial and entrepreneurial flair in collaboration with a brilliant team in London and Dubai Awards • Young PR Professional of the Year • Growing Business Young Gun • Management Today & The Sunday Times Top 35 women under 35

Samantha Darlaston / Head of Travel

Sam has extensive experience in Travel PR and Communications. She heads up our Travel division at Limelight and has an impressive network. As Head of Travel, Sam is responsible for leading and delivering clients PR & communications plans in this sector. She is also involved in managing and developing social media strategy for clients with ideas designed to grow communities and increase engagement levels, tapping into key online influencers and integrating SEO. With over a decade of experience in the travel industry, she is highly connected and well regarded in this sector. During her career, Sam has worked with big brand names including: airline group AIR FRANCE KLM and subsidiary airline CityJet, American Express, cruise company Ocean Village, the Saint Lucia Tourist Board, online insurer Staysure, Tourism Ireland, online hotel booking portal HRS.com, Dubai Tourism, Bourne Leisure, Atlantis Paradise Island, NH Hotels and Luxury spa hotel Seafield.

Sam is also responsible for team management and the travel division’s overall vision and growth, as well as its continued innovation, both within the PR and travel industries.

Current Clients include: UNICO 20°N 87°W Hotel Riviera Maya; Bourne Leisure (three brands: Butlin’s, Haven and Warner Leisure Hotels); TIPTO (Truly Independent Professional Tour Operators); Columbia Beach Resort.
