Project Details

Saatchi & Saatchi X had experienced a relatively low profile for a few years and was keen to reaffirm its position within the industry, following the establishment of a new board of directors. Key to this was establishing SSX as a thought leader on the various components of shopper marketing with a strong focus on educating the industry about the agency’s trademark Lovemark brands concept.
Limelight conceived, created and now manages a quarterly thought leadership programme for SSX. The programme was designed to raise the profile of UK Managing Director Rachelle Headland and the rest of the SSX board using client case studies, the team's extensive knowledge and insight into shopper behaviour, and the emotional drivers which compel consumers to shop at a particular store or buy a specific brand. This involved multiple one-to-one Soapbox Sessions™ with each member of the board to solicit the necessary materials we needed to build a bank of content to pitch to media. This was supported by a detailed programme of work including business profiles, features and blog development built around raising the profile of the agency's MD.
To date, coverage has been secured in Metro, Retail Week, Real Business, My Customer, The Drum and The Marketing Blog with profile-raising pieces in national media, retail trade press and the marketing press.
